    Q. What do you do and how long have you worked at Assure Futures?

    A. Gosh, I've had a variety of roles. I've been with the company for 12 years now and started out as a sales person, and did rather well. Then I returned after having children and we used my sales experience in our compliance department ensuring the quality of our advice is top drawer. Most recently I have been responsible for recruitment.

    Q. What are the people and environment like?

    A. The people are really friendly and open to change, they are professional. The offices are lovely and we are given the tools and resources to be able to complete our roles well. Big display screens too!

    Q. What makes you proud to work for Assured Futures?

    A. I am proud of the growth of our company and the professionalism we maintain. We offer advice , not just repeating an order. We actually help people for the better.

  • Meet The Boss

    Q. What is your career history?

    A. Well, I think that I embody what is possible in a career at Assured Futures. I started at a basic adviser level when I was just 18 and I've worked up through the ranks, within our sister company A-Plan and at Assured Futures. I don't have a degree or even A-Level's but through being a good all-rounder and sheer hard work I've got to this position.

    Q. What makes you proud?

    A. PROUD is an anagram made from the first letter of our companies values Positive, Rewarding, Open, Understanding and Dedicated. Firstly I am proud of what we do. Insurance is crucially important, to lives, to society, to allow businesses to grow and social mobility to exist. Our life and health products truly deliver and protect families when the chips are down, when terrible things happen to loved ones. We know the value of our products. But even more so I am proud of how we 'do' insurance. We have the widest panel of insurers, we have the best prices and we have staff dedicated to delivering the right customer outcomes.

    Q. What does the future hold for Assured Futures?

    A. Whatever we make of it! A company is only as good as its people, and if we continue to pull together and believe in what we do, will will continue the year on year growth we have achieved over the last 10 years.

The social side of working at Assured Futures

Cheltenham Races

As Cheltenham is home to the famous Cheltenham Festival our teams favourite social event is a day out are the races.

So much so, they have chosen this as the companies Christmas party for several years. From Champagne and canapes to beer and burgers all have a fantastic day out. The company fund the whole cost - except the bets!!!

Pizza & Comedy Night

Each year the company organises and funds a series of social events for all staff.

One of this years as night out at the Cheltenham Town hall to enjoy the comedy club event 'Howlers at the Hall'

With a pizza thrown in for good measure its bound to be a giggle

Spectre Masters Darts

Another favourite amongst our staff is Darts.

Don't knock it until you've tried it as it is a great night out full of atmosphere.

Cheltenham hosts the Spectre Darts Cheltenham Masters. Phil 'The Power' Taylor, Mark Webster, Peter Wright, Johnny Clayton and Aaron Monk entertained the crowds at The Centaur with a thrilling round of head to head games.

2016 Summer Event

Each year we close the office early and the whole company enjoys an afternoon of team building, games and activities.

This year the main activity was a fun iPad treasure hunt where teams of staff pitted thier wits against each other to find clues and create amusing videos and action photos. The funnier and more creative they were, the more points were collected.

Then we had had inspirational talk from Alan Chambers CBE who has led a number of polar espeditions and engaged us with his taking on 'leading from the back'.

The evening saw our annual staff performance awards and barbecue on the grand patio.

Previous Summer Events

Summer events are Epic and include archery , segway racing, team building and even duck herding?

Great fun, but a serious side too in learning to communicate and work together. All good stuff washed down with sherbert and some good food.

In the office

Social doesn't just mean organised nights out but inside the office too.

In our rest room we have pool, air hockey and table tennis, along with tv and catering. There's a running club, discounted gym membership and for those less keen on being fit... a tuck shop!
